The building
The building has three levels; these spaces and their related access, receptions and other facilities are referred to as “the venue”.
CIRCA on Jellicoe and its various spaces are rented out to organizations and private persons. Our fees, terms and some indicators which are important to acknowledge prior to hiring are set out below.
“The venue” is used primarily for exhibitions, launch events, conference functions and private parties. “The venue” will only accept functions starting from 6pm onwards, unless by special arrangement and agreement with the hiring party. This is necessary so as not to disturb our normal trading hours. Setting up on the day of the function is also to be agreed upon verbally. “The venue” operates three distinct spaces. These spaces can be hired out altogether or separately:
Ground level:
Speke and related outside area
- Up to 250 guests to include the outdoor space.
First level:
CIRCA Gallery
- Up to 250 guests (or 220 seated in auditorium style).
Upper level:
The Darwin Room and deck.
- Maximum of 70 guests to include the outdoor space.
- Maximum of 26 guests seated for dining inside the Darwin Room.
